I’ve been trying a few new things the last few days, i’ve posted them on my tumblr account but I think a post on here is in order. All using creative commons images from flickr, mainly from “The Commons” (collections of images from institutions like the Smithsonian).

Another possible fanzine page, the intention is to have the beard on tracing paper overlayed on a full version of the mountain. Have to wait and see if it works!

A little preview of the cover of an upcoming fanzine I’m working on, the skateboard will be a photocopy and the foot will be a gocco print over the top. More to come as it happens.

Well here is the result of my first attempt at printing with my gocco. I think the mistake I made was putting the lines too close together so they’ve bled into each other. Printed onto a slightly grey envelope for mailing out promos, I only printed 10 of these because they didn’t come out amazingly well so I’ll be making a new image for the next lot!

I just got hold of a print gocco so I’m busy making imagery to print, first up is an image redrawn from something I drew about 2 years ago or so. Should be printing next week, I’ll post up the gocco print when it’s done.
